The 2010 U.S. Religious Congregations & Membership Study was released on May 1 by the Association of Statisticians of American Religious Bodies. Scott Thumma, Professor of Sociology of Religion at Hartford Seminary, participated in the study, collecting data on non-denominational churches.

Hartford Seminary to Host Disaster Training CourseApril 30, 2012
Hartford Seminary will host a Disaster Spiritual Care training in June. This two-day training, conducted by National Disaster Interfaiths Network (NDIN), will take place on the Hartford Seminary campus on Tuesday and Wednesday, June 12 & 13, 9 AM to 5 PM. Religious leaders, spiritual care providers, mental health professionals, and emergency managers are urged to enroll.
