Professor Yahya Michot Heads to Texas for Lecture on ISIS

Professor Yahya Michot will be in San Angelo, TX, on Nov. 20 for a guest lecture and panel discussion on the Islamic State (ISIS) and its propaganda efforts. The talk will take place at Angelo State University’s Kay Bailey Hutchison Center for Security Studies.

Aida Mansoor Joins Recruitment and Admissions Office

  Aida Mansoor, a Hartford Seminary alumna who is actively involved in building relationships among people of different faith traditions, has joined the staff of the Recruitment and Admissions Office. She will assist with new student enrollment, including a focus on Muslim students.

Hartford Seminary to Join Consortium of Boston-Area Theological Schools

November 16, 2017

Hartford Seminary is pleased to announce that it will officially join the Boston Theological Institute on Jan. 1, 2018. Hartford Seminary was unanimously elected to membership by the BTI’s Board of Trustees at its Sept. 4, 2017, meeting. The BTI is the largest and most diverse theological consortium in the world and will celebrate its 50th anniversary in 2018.

The Rev. Dr. Chris Antal has many years of experience working with veterans. A veteran himself, he served as a U.S. Army chaplain in Afghanistan and now serves as a staff chaplain for the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs as well as a Unitarian Universalist minister.
