Dr. Bilal Ansari Featured in Conference Report on Muslim LeadershipApril 30, 2020
Bilal Ansari, Faculty Associate in Muslim Pastoral Theology, presented at a 2019 conference in Germany on Muslim Religious Leadership in Europe and North America. The international conference brought together experts from 14 different countries to discuss the issues around Imam training, and Dr. Ansari represented Hartford Seminary.

AAR Accepts Paper by Ph.D. Candidate Ramy MarcosApril 7, 2020
Ph.D. candidate Ramy Marcos of Egypt submitted an abstract proposal to the American Academy of Religion conference, and it was accepted. The paper, “Women’s Conversion and Religious Toleration in Ottoman Islamic Egypt: The Case Study of Fāṭimah of Asyūt,” will be presented at the AAR Conference in in Boston, Nov. 21-24, 2020.
