IPP Graduate Published in Journal of Inter-Religious Studies

Elena Dini, a 2014 graduate of the Seminary’s International Peacemaking Program, has just published an article on the website of the Journal of Inter-religious Studies. The article, Processing Experiences Within an Academic Framework: A Challenge for Education. In the article, she describes several classes at Hartford Seminary where students visit different places of worship as part of their interfaith experience.

Crane Display for World Peace Day Transforms Lobby

Hartford Seminary dedicated a new art installation in its three-story lobby on Monday, Nov. 17, 2014. The 1,ooo-orgami-crane display designed by Hartford artist Ann Cubberly marks World Peace Day and provides a visual representation of the Seminary’s mission.

Prof. Miriam Therese Winter led a group of willing participants in a march down memory lane on Thursday, Oct. 30, with her Fall Songfest. Folk songs included old favorites such as This Little Light of Mine,  Kumbayah, and He’s Got the Whole World in His Hands.

Applications for Fall 2014 Up 34% at Hartford Seminary
