The Hartford Seminary community mourns the passing of Pastor Nancy Carroll Butler, who served on the Seminary’s Board of Trustees from 2006-2009. She had been diagnosed with ALS in 2015.

Carpenter Foundation Donates Funds for International Peacemaking Program Scholarships

The E. Rhodes and Leona B. Carpenter Foundation has donated $75,000 to Hartford Seminary to provide scholarships to one International Peacemaking Program student each year for the next three years. The students funded by the foundation will have a commitment to international religious peacemaking and will also identify as LGBT.
