David D. Grafton To Assume Role of Interim Academic Dean in July

President Heidi Hadsell has announced that Professor Scott Thumma will complete his 18-month term as Interim Dean at the end of June, returning to his many responsibilities as a faculty member, Director of the Hartford Institute for Religion Research and Director of the Doctor of Ministry program.

The United States has more than 1,300 megachurches, according to the Hartford Institute for Religious Research, which defines them as very active Protestant congregations with an average of 2,000 or more weekend attendees and a multitude of outreach programs and ministries.
