Ways to Give

Credit Cards

You can give using your credit card through our secure giving form or by calling the Development Office at 860-509-9500. On the online form, you can make a one-time or recurring gift. We accept Visa, MasterCard, and Discover.

Checks

Checks can be made payable to Hartford International University. Please include a note about your gift’s designation.

Securities and Property

Many donors prefer to give stock, other securities or property. These gifts benefit Hartford International and the donor with a deduction at the fair market value of the gift when it is made. Additionally, in most cases the donor does not pay capital gains tax on the appreciated value of the stock or property. To make a gift of securities or property, please contact the Development Office at development@hartfordinternational.edu.

Matching Gifts

Many companies offer their employees a benefit of increasing their charitable donations to select organizations by matching those gifts either dollar for dollar or by a percentage. Please check with your employer about their matching gift program.

Gifts from Retirement Plans

Donors who are 73 or older may choose to contribute from their IRA directly to a qualified charity without having to pay income taxes on the gift. For more information on making a Qualified Charitable Distribution (QCD) through your IRA, please contact the Development Office at development@hartfordinternational.edu.
