Hartford Seminary was thrilled to learn that 2014 Islamic Chaplaincy Program graduate Asnage Castelly will wrestle for Haiti in the 2016 Olympics, and in fact, has made history as Haiti’s first Olympic wrestler.

He was the first Jewish core faculty member, the holder of the Abrahamic Partnerships Chair, and the Director of the Building Abrahamic Partnerships Program. The titles, though, don’t fully capture the deep impact he has had on the community.

Academic Dean Uriah Kim to Join Graduate Theological Union in 2017

Academic Dean Uriah Kim has announced that he will be leaving Hartford Seminary at the end of 2016 to take a position with his alma mater, Graduate Theological Union of Berkeley, California, where he will be Dean and Vice President for Academic Affairs and John Dillenberger Professor of Biblical Studies.
