Finding an Article From a Citation

Sometimes you have a citation for an article, but don't know where to find the actual content of the article. For example, if you have found something in Index Islamicus online, it is probably only a citation, not a full-text item. Your citation should include:

  • Journal title

  • Article title

  • Article author

  • Journal issue, year, volume

  • page numbers

Four Steps to Finding Your Article

Step 1: Search for the journal title in the Digital Theological Library (DTL).
