Professional Chaplaincy: Obtaining Board Chaplain Certification

By Jawad Bayat and Allan Robinson

Jawad Bayat, in his role as a CPE educator training chaplains, will discuss insights and advice regarding the process of navigating the preparation of materials for the committee appearance with his colleague and APC Certification Specialist, Allan Robinson. If you see yourself serving as a professional chaplain, this discussion will provide the pathway, especially within the context of the change to a new certification process that begins in October 2024. In some chaplaincy settings, you might not need a certification; Jawad and Allan will respond to questions on that matter.
