Dr. Amy-Jill Levine's Book Translated into German
June 20, 2024
A book by Dr. Amy-Jill Levine and Marc Z. Brettler has been translated into German.
The Bible With and Without Jesus: How Jews and Christiand Read the Same Stories Differently is offered in German as Hebräische Bibel und Altes Testament.
"It shows how my scholarship is reaching German-speaking audiences, which complements my talks last year in Nuremberg at the Kirchentag (the largest biannual gathering of German-speaking Protestants) and this year in Erfurt at the Katholikentag (the largest biannual gathering of German-speaking Roman Catholics)," Dr. Levine said.
The same press has also published several of Dr. Levine's children’s books in German translation:

Dr. Levin is HIU's Rabbi Stanley M. Kessler Distinguished Professor of New Testament and Jewish Studies.
Congratulations, AJ!
