Birdsong Vespers

Inspired by the life of Saint Francis, Birdsong Vespers is an inclusive outdoor song and prayer experience.

Come meet at the HIU Labyrinth behind the 76 Sherman Street building for this wonderful immersion in the ongoing prayer of all creation, led by inter-spiritual minister and singer-songwriter Simon de Voil. Deeply rooted in Celtic Christianity, the wisdom of the Earth, and the Scottish land where he has spent most of his life, Simon is an experienced leader of sacred song and pilgrimage outside the conventions of traditional religion. In case of heavy rain, the event will move indoors at 76 Sherman.

Earlier in the day, Simon will be leading the Spiritual Life Center’s annual spring luncheon and fund-raiser: A Season for Renewal.
