Dr. David D. Grafton Speaks at UHart Middle East Forum

Dr. David D. Grafton, Director of the Macdonald Center for the Study of Islam and Christian-Muslim Relations, was a panelist for a forum on the Middle East at the University of Hartford on Dec. 4. Also on the panel was Dr. Yehezkel Landau, a former HIU professor of Jewish Studies.
The forum's goal, as stated on the UHart website, was to "provide historical context and answer questions about the current Middle East war." Questions were submitted to a moderator.
The audience for the forum was UHart students, faculty and staff, and about 70 people attended. The event was also livestreamed via Zoom webinar.
Also on the panel was Dr. Michael Clancy of UHart, and the moderator was Dr. Jessica Nicklin of UHart's Office of the Provost & College of Arts & Sciences.
The event was sponsored by UHart's Office of Diversity, Equity, and Community Engagement and the Division of Student Success Civility Initiative.
