Dr. Lucinda Mosher, Faculty Associate in Chaplaincy and Interreligious Relations, and an affiliate of HIU’s Duncan Black Macdonald Center for the Study of Islam and Christian-Muslim Relations, participated in the 20th convening of the Building Bridges Seminar, which took up the theme of “Mercy and Grace: Christian and Muslim Perspectives” from June 13–17 at the Airlie Center in Warrenton, Virginia.

This project, which brings together a select circle of Christian and Muslim scholar-believers for intensive dialogical close reading of scripture and other texts, was founded in January 2002 by the Archbishop of Canterbury. It has been under stewardship of Georgetown University for the past ten years. Dr Mosher, who has been its historian since its inception, became a participant in 2011, and joined its staff in 2012. As Building Bridges Seminar rapporteur, she edits its book series.
