Social Justice Discussion Group on Gender Equality

Each month Hartford International University and Spiritual Life Center, West Hartford, offer a discussion group on issues of social justice. The next session is on 1/4/22, 6:30-8 PM and the topic is Gender Equality. We meet via Zoom and use Ted Talks as the basis for discussion.  All are welcome.  Sessions are free, registration is required.

Here are some questions about the video that we will use for discussion starters when we meet.

     a) In what ways did the video touch your heart?
     b) How do you experience gender inequality in your life?
     c) Starting at the 13 minute mark, DiPretta lists several steps that people can take to promote gender equality.  Which ones make sense to you?  Do you think that some are unrealistic?
