Fall Lineup Announced for Islamic Studies and Chaplaincy Program

Hartford Seminary has assembled a strong lineup of faculty for 2018-19 in the area of Islamic Studies and Christian-Muslim Relations, as well as Islamic Chaplaincy.
Faculty members from Hartford Seminary include:
- Dr. Timur Yuskaev, Associate Professor of Contemporary Islam
- Dr. David D. Grafton, Professor of Islamic Studies and Christian-Muslim Relations
- Dr. Seyfeddin Kara, Assistant Professor of Shi'i Studies and Relations between Islamic Schools of Thought
- Dr. Steven Blackburn, Faculty Associate in Semitic Scriptures
They will be joined by these distinguished scholars:
- Dr. Suheil Laher, Academic Dean at Fawakih Institute and Senior Qur'anic Arabic and Tajwid Instructor
- Dr. Celene Ibrahim, Muslim Chaplain at Tufts University
- Dr. Ovamir Anjum, Imam Khattab Endowed Chair of Islamic Studies, University of Toledo
- Dr. Ermin Sinanovic, Director of Research and Academic Programs, International Institute of Islamic Thought (IIIT)
