Professor Shanell T. Smith Receives Wabash Center Grant

The Wabash Center Advisory Committee has approved a grant proposal from Professor Shanell T. Smith.

The title of the grant is: "Listening From Within: From Surviving to Flourishing in Academia." The grant will support a peer mentoring cluster of four female scholars of color who are focusing on self-care practices and the outward vocational expression of their inner selves.

The Wabash Center supports theology and religion faculty and doctoral students reflecting on their teaching practice — in both theological education and undergraduate education.
