Journal of Interreligious Studies Releases New Issue
April 2, 2025

Dr. Lucinda Mosher, HIU’s professor of interreligious studies and senior editor of the Journal of Interreligious Studies (JIRS), is pleased to announce the release of JIRS Issue 45. It offers four essays from the 2023 Engaging Particularities conference at Boston College. Among them is "Blessed Be the Stranger"—a superb piece on Islamic ethics by Aseel Azab-Osman. It also includes four book reviews—one of which assesses a study of the multireligious nature of university chaplaincy.
Engaging Particularities is the longest-running student-led annual theology or religious studies conference that takes place in the northeastern United States.
JIRS is an online, peer-reviewed, collaboratively produced publication of Hebrew College, Boston University School of Theology, and Hartford International University for Religion and Peace.
Congratulations, Lucinda!
