Journal of Interreligious Studies Releases New Issue
August 6, 2024
Dr. Lucinda Mosher, HIU’s professor of interreligious studies and senior editor of the Journal of Interreligious Studies (JIRS), is pleased to announce the release of JIRS Issue 42, the focus of which is the 19th Annual Engaging Particularities Conference hosted by the Boston College Theology Department in April 2022. The issue, guest edited by conference organizer Yujia (Sam) Zhai, presents four peer-reviewed articles based on papers heard by conference participants in 2022, plus four book reviews.
Engaging Particularities is the longest-running student-led annual theology or religious studies conference that takes place in the northeastern United States. JIRS has published the proceedings of Engaging Particularities three times previously, is preparing to publish papers from its 2023 session in due course, and anticipates doing likewise for Engaging Particularities 2024.
JIRS is an online, peer-reviewed, collaboratively produced publication of Hebrew College, Boston University School of Theology, and Hartford International University for Religion and Peace.
Congratulations, Lucinda!
