HIU Scholars to Help Church Explore Different Faiths

Christ Church in Westerly, RI, has invited four scholars to help them explore faith from different religious perspectives through a series of programs during Lent.

Billed as "A Journey through the Wilderness," the program includes two Hartford International University alumni, one of whom is on the faculty and one of whom is retired from the faculty.

On Wednesday, March 16, Dr. Bilal Ansari, Faculty Associate in Muslim Pastoral Theology, will talk about Islam. 

On Wednesday, March 30, Dr. Yehezkel Landau, a retired faculty member, will talk about Judaism.

Also on the schedule are talks on March 9 (Dr. Thupten Tendhar on Buddhism) and March 23 (the Rev. Eileen Lindeman on Christianity).
