Dr. Lucinda Mosher Co-edits Book on Interreligious Pedagogies and Practices
April 17, 2025

Dr. Lucinda Mosher co-edited Interreligious Studies and Secondary Education: Pedagogies and Practices for Living and Learning in a Religiously Plural World, along with Christine Gallagher (Institute for Islamic, Christian, and Jewish Studies) and Axel Takács (editor-in-chief, Journal of Interreligious Studies). The book was published on April 15 by Interreligious Studies Press, an imprint of Interreligious Studies Media.
This groundbreaking collection of eighteen essays presents the experiences and innovative methods of public, private, and parochial educators, scholars of interreligious studies, and community youth program organizers. By accompanying these reflection pieces with an essay exploring the history and legal frameworks surrounding religious education in the United States and beyond, this book demonstrates the vital importance of fostering interreligious literacy and understanding.
The book is also available on Amazon.
Congratulations, Dr. Mosher!
