Alums, Dean Contribute to Journal of Interreligious Studies

Two Hartford Seminary International Peacemaking alums contributed articles to the most recent issue of the Journal of Interreligious Studies, a special issue in collaboration with the Russell Berrie Fellowship program in Interreligious Studies at the Pontifical University of St. Thomas Aquinas in Rome, Italy. Academic Dean David D. Grafton also contributed a book review.

Elena Dini, IPP ’14, recently completed a Licentiate in Missiology at the Pontifical Gregorian University in Rome and will be starting a Ph.D. program in October. She is a Russell Berrie alumna at the Angelicum (Rome) She is also a member of the steering committee of the International Abrahamic Forum.

Allyson Zacharoff, IPP ’18, is a current rabbinical student at the Reconstructionist Rabbinical College outside Philadelphia. In addition to her time at Hartford Seminary, she studied as a Conflict Resolution Fellow at the Pardes Institute of Jewish Studies in Jerusalem and as a Russell Berrie Fellow in Interreligious Studies at the Pontifical University of St. Thomas Aquinas and the Pontifical Gregorian University, both in Rome. She currently serves as a representative of the Reconstructionist Rabbinical Association on two national interfaith dialogues — between the National Council of Synagogues (NCS) and the U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops, and between the NCS and the National Council of Churches.
