As a concept, “religion” is both contested and fascinating. In this session, part of the Faith in the Neighborhood series, religion scholars Lucinda Mosher and Timur Yuskaev of Hartford International University for Religion & Peace swap stories about the “manyness” of religions in the U.S., attitudes about religion, methods and reasons for studying it, and approaches to respectful disagreement about it.

Contact AARP Connecticut at ctaarp@aarp.org for more information.

The session is approved for (1.0) Continuing Education Credits by NASW/CT and meets the continuing education criteria for Cultural Competence for CT Social Work Licensure renewal. Approval applicable for license renewals for CT LPCs, LMFTs and licensed psychologists. CEUs available to Social Workers in states recognizing NASW State CE approvals.

This nursing continuing professional development activity has been approved by CT Nurses Association (CNA), accredited as an approver by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation.
