Phase 1 - REVIEW BEFORE YOU BEGIN

Research proposal
The Ph.D. in Interreligious Studies at Hartford International University for Religion and Peace requires a research proposal that is aligned with the expertise of our faculty.  The first step of your process is to submit the Phase 1 application, which will include your research proposal to HIU faculty. If your proposal is selected to move forward, the Office of Admission will send you the link to the full Ph.D. application.

If you are not ready to apply but would like to connect with us and learn more about HIU, please complete a "Request Information" form. If you would like to attend an information session or visit campus, we invite you to explore those options as well.
